Celebrating its 30th year as a cultural institution, The Toronto Fringe Festival approached MCDC in the spring of 2018 with the desire to transform their annual outdoor club into a more inclusive, larger, broadly appealing patio.  The mandate included a complete redesign of the 15,000 square foot space + the development of a new brand for the venture.  And just like this POSTSCRIPT, Toronto’s largest pop-up patio, was born!

POSTSCRIPT is a lounge-in-a-park, an artistic hub, a community space for all and a full service bar and food pavilion. Located adjacent to Alexandra Park in the grounds of the Scadding Court Community Centre, the patio sits at the corner of Bathurst and Dundas Streets in the heart of downtown Toronto.  In its first year POSTSCRIPT broke all sales and attendance records, and was a big hit with both Fringe regulars and newcomers alike.
